"11 Months till Christmas Blog Hop"

Welcome to our monthly Christmas Blog Hop. Yes I know Christmas was only a month ago but we are dedicated to starting our Christmas cards early, never to early to get a head start :).

If you are new to our hop here is a little about the hop and how we came to be. Every month up to Christmas we make two cards and post them on the 25th of each month to get that head start to the Christmas card rush. By doing this when we get to December we will each have at least 22 Christmas cards. This block hop started when my great friend Shari and her BFF Heather decided that they were tiered of rushing to make their Christmas cards along with getting ready for the holidays all at once. They decided to challenge each other to make 1 card using a colour medium and one using die cuts or punches each month. Through out the year the hop grew to the lovely and very talented bunch of crafters we have today.

So last year we challenged our selves to make 1 card (or project) with a colour medium and 1 with a die cut or punch as I mentioned above. This year we have changed it up a little, this year we are going to make 2 cards or projects using any technique as long as it follows or represents the theme for the month.

If you arrived here from the talented Mary's Blog then you are in the right spot. If you just happened along my blog and would like to start from the beginning please head over to my very great friend/mentor ;) and the extremely talented Shari's Blog.

Also this month we have a guest Designer Nikki she will be you last stop on today's Hop :). Welcome Nikki so glad you could join us for our fun little hop :). Nikki has her own digi stamp store called Limited Runs Stamps . Once you have completed the hop you should head over and take a look.

Remember to hop along to all the Blogs and leave some love for our very talented crafters who have made wonderful projects for us to enjoy.

I chose to make 2 Christmas cards, I just started making cards last year around this time so I found that I didn't have as many cards as I wanted/needed this year. So I had to limit my love to the most special people in my life. So hopefully this year I can spread the love a little further. I also just got my own desk :) so i just loved making these cards with it. The desk was a big deal for me because I live in a shoe box apartment with my fiance, we have limited options for places we can move as he has MD and relies fully on his wheelchair. So for now this is where we live, when I started this hobby I was crafting out of bins and it was quite challenging but  right after Christmas my dad helped with taking some major pieces of what we will call furniture to allow me to get my own space in the apartment for just me to enjoy and boy this has made me so extremely happy :D. I spend every minute I can sitting there even if it isn't crafting I just enjoy a place that is for me :). I will have to post some pictures of my new set up once it is all complete and tidy.

Well on to the cards....
